The Financial Management Specialist shall possess a business degree, preferably with an accounting concentration. Financial Management Specialist shall possess a keen knowledge of Government accounting systems, processes, and terms (i.e. GFEBS, Lines of Accounting (LOA), Work Breakdown Structure, etc.). Work experience shall include at least 2 years of relevant experience with a recent background in the accounting/budget execution field. Financial Management Specialist performs tasks in support of the SBIR/STTR budget execution and obligation of funds and shall be proficient in the use of databases, data integration and interpretation of data. H/she shall demonstrate exceptional written and oral communication skills.
